Why he does what he does
Richard has a deep curiosity about the unknown, and above all about what new technology does to people and organisations. For years he has been puzzled by why organisations and leaders move so slowly while the technology and the opportunities are already here. That surprise, and sometimes frustration, is a positive driving force for him.
He helps leaders, teams and people understand these developments and make their own choices, within their organisation and together with their customers, partners and employees. He does this through keynotes, masterclasses and boardroom sessions, among other things. That is why leaders and organisations in the Netherlands and abroad ask him to help them think through what lies ahead.
Change is not about technology. It is about people, and their willingness to think differently, work differently and make different choices. That decides whether an organisation succeeds or not. I want us to get the best out of it, for happiness, health, prosperity and a future we are ready for. That gives me energy every single day.
